Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi is spelling out the details of the National Health Insurance Bill and the Medical Schemes Amendment Bill.PRETORIA – Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi says the government has resolved to abolish co-payments in the Medical Schemes Amendment Bill.
This means medical aids would be fully responsible for a patient’s medical bill and no patient would ever have to settle a portion of that bill.
Motsoaledi is in Pretoria this afternoon announcing the changes to two bills that were supported by Cabinet.
The other amendment he will announce this afternoon is in the National Health Insurance Bill.
